Now that I'm older and living in Austin, Tx. the local D.J.'s here say that since Merle met Teresa he's been hapier than they've ever seen. I'm glad to hear that. During my time i lost my only brother who was older than me. God only knows the pain i went through during that time. By the grace of God i was able to attend my brother's funeral. The one thing that really tore me up was seeing my mom hanging over my brother's casket. Thank you Merle for taking time out of your schedule to write me a letter while i was locked up. Getting your letter was the best day in my life. I have always been a big fan of yours. You are the greatest song writer and singer of all time. Hopefully you can call me.
